Dangerous Doc Finally Loses License

After 40 malpractice cases and multiple complaints to the state, the Department of Health finally revoked the license of Dr. Robert Cattani, calling him an “imminent threat to the health and safety” of New Yorkers. According to a Daily News article, Dr. Cattani’s incompetence resulted in injuries ranging from blindness to life threatening renal failure. Many patients blasted the DOH, complaining that the process of revoking Dr. Cattani’s license took too long. Read more

Breast Cancer Detection Law Signed

Good news for New Yorkers!  Our State signed into law an important new measure to help promote early detection and treatment of breast cancer. Dangerous Medical Instruments

As surgical instruments have become smaller and more specialized they have become more difficult to clean, exposing patients to severe infections and life threatening illnesses.
